You'll also ensure that team members meet or exceed departmental, service, and quality goals while supporting a culture of operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and cross‑team collaboration. Additional responsibilities include ensuring procedural documentation is accurate and current, and monitoring work volume. Monitor work volume and workflow queues, ensuring adherence to SLAs and proactively adjusting assignments or resources as needed. Own and maintain departmental procedures and documentation, ensuring they are updated based on business changes, system enhancements, and quality review findings, and communicated appropriately to staff. Develop and use work management tools to increase operational efficiency and enhance processing consistency. Maintain strong business relationships with underwriting, regional partners, BPO vendors, and internal teams. Support modernization and system initiatives by staying current on product, system, and workflow changes. Fosters a positive, collaborative, and accountable work culture by modeling professional behavior, encouraging open communication, supporting team engagement, and reinforcing departmental values in daily operations. Performs all other duties as assigned to support departmental goals and operational efficiency. Qualifications What you need to have: 3+ years of commercial insurance rating experience in multiple lines of business. Extensive commercial insurance and technical experience. Proficient in insurance software systems. Ability to lead change with a sense of urgency. Ability to exercise professional judgment and assume responsibility for decisions. What makes you stand out: Prior Leadership as a Supervisor and/or Manager. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
