Description
The Gustave A Larson Company, is looking for a key team member to join us as a Territory Sales Manager.
We are an HVAC/R wholesale distributor through the Great Plains region, including the Omaha and Lincoln, NE area.
Duties include, but are not limited to
Maintain and grow a book of business - Develop new customer and dealer relationships within an assigned territory as well as maintaining and growing an assigned account list to ensure customer satisfaction. Customer focused – We are passionate about serving all of our customers including dealers, business owners, large HVAC companies, and consolidators. We meet customers’ needs by maintaining positive business relationships and delivering on our promises to facilitate long-term business. Strategy and planning – Set activity, account and territory growth plans on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis. Negotiation – Negotiate terms of sales, pricing, and agreements in a manner that is beneficial to both our customers and our company. HVAC product and industry knowledge – 2+ years of industry knowledge or the ability to acquire it is a must to facilitate selling and recommending the proper equipment for our customers. Business to business sales skills – Prior experience in B2B sales and territory management is highly preferred. The continual sharpening and acquisition of new sales skills is required.
Qualifications needed for this role:
A minimum of at least 2 years in sales, specifically in outside or territory sales, or B2B A strong skill set in building relationships with business owners, listening, persuading, time management, and negotiation. Knowledge of business-to-business sales techniques, market development, and strategy is preferred. A high drive to provide exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to use Customer Relationship Management software and Microsoft Office. HVAC industry and product knowledge is a plus: 2+ years preferred. Valid driver’s license/driving record. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
