SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Human Resources Business Partner provides strategic advice and guidance on talent matters to the senior leaders and management within the commercial teams. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide HR leadership and advice to managers and employees in areas such as recruiting, performance management, succession planning, organizational development, and workforce planning Ability to flex between strategic and tactical Build strong relationships with leaders and teams Suggest HR strategies that align with business goals and support the team’s success Help managers deal with organizational, people, and change-related issues Prepare and leverage human resources data to inform and influence process improvements and key decisions Collaborate with commercial teams to develop and execute ideas to enhance culture Assist in resolving workplace conflicts Partner with HR colleagues on team-related projects and activities. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 7+ years of professional Human Resources experience in the banking or financial services industry Knowledge of employment-related federal and state regulations Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management Ability to build rapport and trust with teams Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field The annual salary range for the HR Business Partner is $110,000 - $180,000 per year About Northern Bank & Trust Company Northern Bank is a full-service bank dedicated to providing practical, common sense financial solutions to help our customers live their lives and grow their businesses.
