If you’re a cannabis enthusiast committed to compliance, safety, and outstanding service, we want to hear from you! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused professional to split their time between working as a Delivery Driver and a Retail Shift Leader. Please include your postal code in your application, as applications without one will not be considered. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Retail Shift Leader Duties:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide assistance to store management in supervising and facilitating the daily operations of the store. </li>\n <li>Oversee the responsibilities of the Store Manager in the absence of SM or ASM </li>\n <li>Assist in the delivery of key personnel management when on shift and resolve any customer service issues as and when needed. </li>\n <li>Provide direction, guidance and instruction to all store associates as required. </li>\n <li>Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards. </li>\n <li>Be the sales and customer service leader/role model in the absence of SM/ASM </li>\n <li>Greet and assist customers in a way that models exemplary conduct to other staff. </li>\n <li>Ensure company policies and relevant legislation are consistently adhered to and upheld by all staff members. </li>\n <li>Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating to the appropriate individual as deemed necessary. </li>\n <li>Ensure that all health, safety and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met on shift </li>\n <li>Achieving sales target and store level KPI’s.   </li>\n <li>Ensuring employees on shift are actively pursuing sales goals </li>\n <li>Oversee and assist in inventory management and be accountable for the inventory processes on shift.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Cannabis Delivery Driver Duties: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Deliver cannabis products safely and promptly within 45 minutes of order placement.</li>\n <li>Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.</li>\n <li>Verify customer identification before making deliveries.</li>\n <li>Follow assigned routes, transportation regulations, and safety protocols.</li>\n <li>Use delivery apps and communicate with customers as necessary.</li>\n <li>Manage cash floats and collect payments when required.</li>\n <li>Other duties as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of high school and College/CEGEP/vocational or technical training required </li>\n <li>Valid Driver's License and excellent and safe driving skills required </li>\n <li>A copy of current, clean driving abstract required with no violations in last three years and no major violations at any time. </li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years work experience in the retail industry required. Cannabis industry preferred </li>\n <li>3 years of verifiable driving experience preferred, based on insurance eligibility criteria</li>\n <li>A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset</li>\n <li>Defensive Driver course an asset. </li>\n <li>Must have valid and current SellSafe certification for working in the retail cannabis store in Alberta </li>\n <li>Working smartphone with a data plan and charger required. </li>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing </li>\n <li>Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and route </li>\n <li>Highly responsible, reliable, and dependable  </li>\n <li>Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends </li>\n <li>Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities  </li>\n <li>Demonstrated sales and service orientation required</li>\n <li>Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment </li>\n <li>Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques </li>\n <li>High level of integrity and work ethic</li>\n <li>Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situation.</li>\n <li>Flexibility to be on call during 6–10-hour shifts</li>\n <li>Ability to work individually as well as part of a team</li>\n <li>High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment</li>\n <li>High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite </li>\n <li>Highly effective teamwork skills </li>\n <li>Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels of the organization </li>\n <li>Well-defined sense of diplomacy </li>\n <li>Thorough understanding of applicable health and safety legislation </li>\n <li>Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Types:</strong> Part-time, Permanent</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why You Should Apply:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The opportunity to work for a growing company that is positioned to become a globally recognized brand in the cannabis industry.</li>\n <li>Significant opportunity for growth, experience and learning</li>\n <li>Unlimited bonus earning potential</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional points:</strong> The job posting reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions and duties as required for proper evaluation of the job.
