We have an in-house Architectural Finishes &amp; Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We are seeking a mid level superintendent at our Philadelphia office</span>. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will do: </span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and communicate project schedule to plan upcoming activities and stay on target. Provides ongoing scheduling input to Project Management staff for all scheduling efforts. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinates the daily activities for all subcontractors at any stage of construction. Completes all project construction in accordance with design, budget and schedule. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages construction budgets set by the Project Manager, tracking construction costs, and submitting all invoices to Accounting in a timely manner. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepares daily log reports for the site conditions, manpower and activities in sufficient detail. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures all parties follow all safety procedures and practices according to both OSHA and company requirements. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducts pre-installation safety evaluations and action plans with contractors to ensure work activities are conducted in the safest manner possible. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures appropriate machinery and tools are available to assigned construction workers and that hand tools and power tools are in proper working order. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Schedules and participates in necessary inspections required by local and state regulations. Organizes final inspections for completed work. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitors daily construction procedures to make sure that proper quality is achieved. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains consistent daily communication with project management staff to ensure all parties are informed of current project status and potential issues affecting progress. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Respond to onsite incidents and emergencies per company procedures. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will need to be successful: </span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of ten (10) years construction supervisory experience in commercial construction. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Project values up to $5 million+ are desirable. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of New Jersey and Philadelphia market is preferred</li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of associated trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, finish trades, layout, etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts and specifications. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of safety regulations and enforcement of such </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors and equipment. </li>\n<li>Computer skills required – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), prior experience with scheduling software is a plus. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to endure frequent activity such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching above the shoulder, pushing, and pulling. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Occasional activity includes sitting and completing work via a computer or laptop. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Rycon Construction, Inc. we believe outstanding employees build the foundation necessary for excellence in business.
