    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Marksmen Specialist/Cabin Counselor</strong> is responsible for the planning, implementing and leading various Marksmen programs for campers in large and small group settings. Marksmen Specialists leads and lives with a cabin of up to 7 campers. Marksmen activities include, but not limited to; Archery, Tac Tag, Tomahawks and Everdeen Archery.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>This job announcement is not intended to be inclusive of all functions, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position, however, representative of the essential job functions and typical criteria considered necessary to successfully perform the position.</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide instruction, supervision and safety of all campers in program area and cabins.</li>\n <li>Create, plan and implement age-appropriate Marksmen lesson plans.</li>\n <li>Ensure adequate supplies and resources are available.</li>\n <li>Assist campers with achieving their goals.</li>\n <li>Assist with overnights.</li>\n <li>Assist campers with achieving their goals.</li>\n <li>Supervise and participate in all assigned aspects of the campers’ day which includes but is not limited to; camper check-in and check-out; mealtimes; activities; and before/after-hours duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Attend and participate in All Staff Training.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>\n <li>Previous camp experience or experience working with groups of children is preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to lead and instruct a group of campers in Marksmen program. </li>\n <li>Have knowledge in safety, care of equipment, inventory, skill instruction, and progressive age-appropriate programming. </li>\n <li>Must be able to identify age and grade level characteristics of campers. </li>\n <li>Training and certification will be provided during All Staff Training. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>YMCA Membership</li>\n <li>Discounted Programs</li>\n <li>12% Employer Retirement Contribution</li>\n <li>Paid Sick Time</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Posted Salary Range</h2>USD $245.00 - USD $385.00 /Wk.",
