    "description": "<p>Position Title: Software Architect SR</p>\n<p>Location: Huntsville, AL </p>\n<p>Position Type: Full-Time</p>\n<p>Clearance: Top Secret Required</p>\n<p><br></p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to support mission-critical programs in <span>Huntsville</span>. This individual will serve as a technical leader responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud and search platform solutions in secure enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Elastic Search/OpenSearch technologies, AWS cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems architecture.</p>\n<p>The Senior Solutions Architect will collaborate with engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, and program teams to design and support highly available, resilient, and secure enterprise solutions supporting operational and analytical mission requirements.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Architect, deploy, configure, and maintain Elastic Search/OpenSearch environments within AWS cloud infrastructures.</li>\n<li>Design scalable and highly available enterprise search and data indexing solutions.</li>\n<li>Lead cluster configuration, scaling, tuning, monitoring, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery efforts.</li>\n<li>Configure and optimize indexing pipelines, shard management, replication, and cluster performance.</li>\n<li>Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and implement performance improvements across distributed environments.</li>\n<li>Support restoration activities from cluster backups and maintain operational continuity strategies.</li>\n<li>Configure and support AWS services including Application Load Balancers (ALB), EC2, storage, networking, and security services.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with software engineers, cloud teams, and cybersecurity personnel to integrate enterprise applications and data services.</li>\n<li>Develop architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, operational procedures, and system design artifacts.</li>\n<li>Support infrastructure modernization initiatives and cloud migration efforts.</li>\n<li>Implement security best practices including encryption, authentication, access controls, and compliance requirements.</li>\n<li>Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering and operations teams.</li>\n<li>Participate in technical reviews, architecture discussions, and customer briefings.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).</li>\n<li>8+ years of overall experience in systems engineering, cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or enterprise platform administration.</li>\n<li>5–7 years of hands-on experience with Elastic Search and/or OpenSearch technologies.</li>\n<li>Proven experience standing up, configuring, managing, and optimizing Elastic/OpenSearch clusters in enterprise environments.</li>\n<li>Experience performing backup restoration, monitoring, indexing optimization, and cluster health management.</li>\n<li>Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments.</li>\n<li>Experience configuring and supporting AWS Application Load Balancers (ALB).</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, high availability, and scalability principles.</li>\n<li>Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and application issues.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced mission environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Java development or supporting Java-based enterprise applications.</li>\n<li>Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.</li>\n<li>Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Federal Government programs.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.</li>\n<li>Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Elastic Certified Engineer, Security+, or similar credentials.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>CULTURE REQUIREMENTS:</span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> Engineers, Analysts, and Developers at Cintel, Inc. are highly motivated, technical, and self‐organized.
