Requires selecting appropriate tooling to complete the job.</li>\n <li>Performs machine adjustments as needed to achieve the desired results.</li>\n <li>Continual operation of the machine in an efficient manner.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Accurately and consistently wands into the production order being worked on.</li>\n <li>Handles optics with care. Takes precautions to protect optics during handling and measuring.</li>\n <li>Completed parts must meet or exceed specifications.</li>\n <li>Maintaining, verifying, and recording mechanical specifications per the drawing into databases or data sheets when required.</li>\n <li>Maintains machine during and after operations.</li>\n <li>Work with engineering to continually improve the processes and product.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma High school diploma or GED required.</li>\n <li>2 to 5 years’ experience in light manufacturing preferred but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Skills</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Attention to detail&nbsp;and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask</li>\n <li>Must be both team-oriented and self-motivated</li>\n <li>Ability to take direction from supervisor</li>\n <li>Must work with supervisor and technical lead to troubleshoot and resolve problems</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret mechanical drawings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Working Conditions</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manufacturing and laboratory conditions involving the use of high-precision machines.</li>\n <li>The correct safety equipment and personal protective clothing must be employed in all activities.</li>\n <li>The use of Chemicals such as acetone, acetic acid, IPA, detergents, polish, and coolants.</li>\n <li>Standing for long periods.</li>\n <li>Some manufacturing areas within the department can be noisy, dirty and require working with hazardous materials.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Physical Requirements</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Standing 6-8 hours a day</li>\n <li>Sitting 0-2 hours per day</li>\n <li>Maximum lifting/pulling of 25lbs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Safety Requirements</u></b></p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
