    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summary Description</span></p>\n<p>Under the supervision of the Installation Manager, mentors and assists with training of apprentices. Supervises and mentor’s journeypersons and field supervisors for project performance goals. Make regular job site visits to ensure quality control and standards are in place. Performs other duties as assigned by management.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M and customer safety policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Perform job site audits</li>\n<li>Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M employment policies and procedures to reflect positively on the Company.</li>\n<li>Regularly visit job sites to help with apprentice growth and quality control</li>\n<li>Participate in interviews and selection of apprentices. </li>\n<li>Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the apprentice program in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures. </li>\n<li>Coach, mentor and develop apprentices and provide career development planning and opportunities.</li>\n<li>Effectively manages and oversees project administrative tasks.</li>\n<li>Supervises assigned personnel to maximize career development for employees including timely and accurate performance evaluations.</li>\n<li>Effectively manages Building Automation Systems apprentices.</li>\n<li>Effectively maintains training of all installation team members.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Requirements</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills/Education:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school education or equivalent; post high school education desirable but not required.</li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction or building automation trade at Foreperson level.</li>\n<li>Ability to read, understand and effectively apply construction drawings, specifications, and electrical schematics.</li>\n<li>Proven leadership skills and ability to manage people in a professional, constructive manner.</li>\n<li>Ability to organize and administer multiple job functions with good attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Above average level of computer literacy including word processing, working with spreadsheets, processing emails and data entry on company provided software.</li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of electrical and building automation trades and applicable building and electrical codes.</li>\n<li>Maintains consistent foreperson and superintendent job description requirements.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of and ability to deal with other construction trades.</li>\n<li>Must be confident, decisive, self-motivated.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working 40 hours/week, scheduled in 8-to-10-hour shifts</li>\n<li>Standing and climbing 4 to 6 hours/day</li>\n<li>Kneeling, lifting, reaching above shoulders, and bending 4 to 5 hours/day</li>\n<li>Twisting (180° ) and walking 2 to 3 hours/day.</li>\n<li>Squatting and sitting 1 to 2 hours/day</li>\n<li>Lifting weights of 0 to 75 lbs. at the following frequencies: continuous lifting of 10 to 35 lbs.; frequent lifting of 35 to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting of 50 to 75 lbs.; sizes &amp; shapes of objects vary from concrete blocks to cylinders to 10’ lengths of metallic conduit and 20' lengths of PVC conduit; average carry requirements, 60 lbs. for 40'</li>\n<li>Ability to lift from floor to above shoulder.</li>\n<li>Repetitive use of hands includes continuous grasping up to 50 lbs.; frequent pushing and pulling of 50 to 75 lbs.; and fine motor coordination for receptacle installation and wire terminations.</li>\n<li>Repetitive use of feet is required for operating heavy equipment, conduit benders and vertical climbing.</li>\n<li>Vision adequate for blueprint reading and color coding for wire identification.</li>\n<li>Balance adequate for continuous climbing of ladders, scaffolds, and lifts and for working from heights.</li>\n<li>Environmental factors may include working in temperature extremes of 0° F to 100° F up to 8 hours inside or outside and atmospheric exposure to dust, gases, fumes, and odors within the Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL).</li>\n<li>Special hazards include exposure to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and potentially explosive hazards.</li>\n<li>Personal protective equipment includes use of hard hat, safety glasses, protected-toe boots, and appropriate gloves for the task.
