You will have the opportunity to work within a talented and supportive team and take a lead role in key buildings projects.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;The role of the Project Engineer with Contract Administration responsibilities is a typical engineering role with strong focus on Contract Administration phase of Project that is under construction.&nbsp;The role combines knowledge of Office Functions and Field Functions in making sure that the Project is being implemented in accordance with the approved building design and Construction contract.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Reporting to the Project Director, this position will be based out of our Etobicoke office located at 175 Galaxy Blvd.&nbsp;We would like to supplement our existing team with an individual experienced with engineering design, project leadership, understanding of multidisciplinary design contract documents, project budgeting and costing, construction methods, project delivery schedules and a desire to work in a collaborative team environment. This role is expected to foster a collaborative team environment while supporting the vision, mission, and values and our “OneArcadis” culture.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead multidisciplinary projects&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Communicate with the Owner, the Contractor and the Consultant team</li>\n <li>Interpret the Contract Documents and issue appropriate instructions to the Contractor</li>\n <li>Coordinate and issue Site Instructions for revisions that do not affect the Contract price</li>\n <li>Manage multidisciplinary RFI responses and respond to Requests For Information (RFIs) from the contractor to provide clarity and direction</li>\n <li>Manage and coordinate design changes and issue Contemplated Change Notices to the Contractor.&nbsp;Review Contractor pricing and make recommendations for payment</li>\n <li>Carry out periodic field review, monitor progress of work to ensure compliance with the Contract Documents</li>\n <li>Attend regular construction bi-weekly site meetings</li>\n <li>Prepare and Issue Site Visit reports</li>\n <li>Advise the Contractor when construction results are incorrect</li>\n <li>Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) when required</li>\n <li>Review Inspection and Testing reports by 3<sup>rd</sup> parties</li>\n <li>Compile punch list of non-compliant work; monitor resolution of deficiencies</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum University Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or the equivalent experience on multi-disciplinary transit facility projects.</li>\n <li>Minimum 5-7 years of Design and Construction experience on industrial facility projects.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lead multidisciplinary teams</li>\n <li>Must be able to read and understand construction contract documents and CCDC Contract</li>\n <li>Registration with PEO is mandatory</li>\n <li>Project Management Professional designation is not required but an asset</li>\n <li>Knowledge of construction practices; procedures and quality assurance techniques</li>\n <li>Proven analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Strong communication, and negotiation skills with an ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing as well as being able to independently write correspondence</li>\n <li>Strong project management and coordination skills with a keen ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work effectively</li>\n <li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint;</li>\n <li>This is an Office based position that requires travel.&nbsp;Therefore, a valid Ontario driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
