    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">We are seeking a results-driven <strong>Director of Operations </strong>(Retail/Consumer, U.S. Region based in OH or PA) to lead our multi-site network, ensuring best-in-class safety, service, operational performance, financial results, and customer experience. A strong background in grocery distribution is essential for success in this role.</div><p><br></p><p><strong>Respon</strong><strong>sibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Interact regularly and communicate proactively both internally and externally, to resolve process and operations issues promptly, optimize results, and create successful collaborative environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides a single point of contact for customer communications and becomes the coordinator for all information in terms of activity and act as our organization&rsquo;s representative.</li><li>Understand and Identify escalation points within customer resolution.</li><li>Provide cross-functional team leadership in achieving KPI&rsquo;s related to Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery and Cost.</li><li>Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and presentations on activities, cost and issues.</li><li>Participates in development of capital spending budgets for operations facilities and equipment, and ensure projects are completed in accordance with the budget.</li><li>Review, analyze and prepare reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities.</li><li>Supports operations utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS)/PackManager System and related operating/information systems to improve productivity, streamline distribution processes, and achieve operating performance objectives.</li><li>Develop and lead management staff by active coaching and training while cultivating a collaborative team culture, creative problem solving, and results driven operations.</li><li>Participate in recruiting, retaining, and developing, top talent for Senior Leadership Team.</li><li>Oversee and maintain procedures for ensuring managers and supervisors have appropriate practices and controls in place to ensure a safe and secure workplace for employees in conjunction with the safety and human resources departments.</li><li>Work with the team to establish manufacturing standards for cost control and waste reduction, oversee the design, development, communication and implement manufacturing best practices.</li><li>Demonstrate foresight and vision in identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement of Operations. &nbsp;</li><li>Develop plans that provide for adequate, cost-effective capacity to support company growth and customer volume.</li><li>Develops short-term and long-term functional operating plans (goals, objectives, action plans, and budgets).</li><li>Implementing improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.</li><li>Manage process changes, enhancements and modifications to facilitate implementation of new or improved business practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate to department heads of such changes and modifications using appropriate communication tools.</li><li>Participate in strategic planning and business plan development.</li><li>Ensure that environmental programs are in place and managed effectively through practices and controls.</li><li>Develop and execute strategic plans for each operation for continuous improvement and lean initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Education /&nbsp;</strong><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in logistics, or related field. &nbsp;</li><li>Proven senior operations leadership experience within retail, consumer, distribution, or similar environments.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Core&nbsp;</strong><strong>Competencies</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills &ndash;&nbsp;</li><li>Thorough knowledge of company equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent organizational and analytical skills, proactive problem solving.</li><li>Ability to manage confidential information.</li><li>Excellent time management and organization skills,&nbsp;</li><li>Service oriented with strong customer interaction skills and commitment.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent computer skills in M.S. software applications&nbsp;</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the emphasis on financial reports&nbsp;</li><li>Exceptional planning skills</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
