    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Responsible for working closely with manufacturing planner and CNC shop personnel to produce reliable CNC processes to meet customer requirements by performing the following duties.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Designs and creates NC programs for extrusion products, large block HOGOUT products, forging and/or casting products, forging and/or casting related tooling, and assembly related tooling.</li>\n <li>Designs and creates NC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling customer products.</li>\n <li>Displays expertise in 4-axis horizontal mill machining programming and 5-axis mill machining programming with great efficiency.</li>\n <li>Plans details of CNC related operation.</li>\n <li>Provides accurate setup documentation.</li>\n <li>Validates NC programs prior to production use by using verification software.</li>\n <li>Approves and places NC programs, setup information on machine server for shop use.</li>\n <li>Performs troubleshooting on CNC programming related problems.</li>\n <li>Participates in troubleshooting on production related problems.</li>\n <li>Upkeeps and/or maintains master files of programming.</li>\n <li>Optimizes feed rate and spindle RPM to for cost affectivity.</li>\n <li>Integrates improved and/or new cutting tool technology.</li>\n <li>Participates in the improvement process by utilizing lean manufacturing method.</li>\n <li>Proposes feasible solutions for future overall process improvements.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Computer Skills: </strong></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the use of CAD/CAM software.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education/Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>Must have a minimum of eight years of full-time CAD/CAM programming experience, a very strong aerospace precision metal working background, and be capable of supporting a very fast-pace programming schedule with great NC programming accuracy and efficiency.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Equipment:</strong></p>\n<p>Eye and hearing protection may be necessary while working on the shop floor.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to read customer provided drawing</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable in G-code</li>\n <li>Operating portable measuring equipment</li>\n <li>Thorough understanding of machining processes</li>\n</ul>",
