As a <strong>Development Engineer - Generator Excitation</strong> you will be based in our <strong>Cranberry Township, PA</strong> office and leverage your expertise in generator excitation systems, excitation controls, and power plant operations to deliver reliable, high‑performance solutions to our customers.</p>\n<p>Power &amp; Water Solutions is an industry-leading controls automation company that focuses on providing applications in the renewable (solar, hydro, wind), fossil (natural gas and coal) power generation, and water treatment plants sectors. We focus on upgrading existing plant control systems with industry-leading automation controls and instrumentation to promote the sustainability and longevity of our North American power grid and wastewater infrastructure.</p>\n<div>\n <strong>In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>Maintain and extend code base of the current digital excitation control module.</li>\n  <li>Provide technical support to field service and projects engineering staff.</li>\n  <li>Provide technical support to marketing and sales, generally in the form of proposal reviews and fielding requests for new functionality.</li>\n  <li>Interface with excitation technical consultant as needed to investigate startup issues during power plant commissioning.</li>\n  <li>Provide technical guidance to the validation team.</li>\n  <li>Support technical writers writing user manuals.</li>\n  <li>Work with and the support the Excitation Software Toolkit scripts.</li>\n  <li>Maintain and extend the Excitation Software Toolkit SMV database.<br>\n    &nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <strong>Who You Are:</strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You create teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.\n</div>\n<div>\n <br>\n  &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n <strong>For This Role, You Will Need:</strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar STEM degree.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Minimum 5 years' experience with Embedded “C” programming language.
