    "description": "<p>SAW, Inc. is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in a classroom setting. This position involves working with a group of adults who have developmental disabilities and require additional support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, fostering positive behavior, facilitating the development of functional skills, and engaging individuals in various recreational activities.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Job Functions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support and training to help individuals increase independence and achieve their life goals.</li>\n<li>Provide supervision, instruction, and support to ensure health and safety.</li>\n<li>Plan and implement activities according to individual interests and preferences.</li>\n<li>Assist individuals to expand their social network.</li>\n<li>Provide personal care and feeding for individuals.</li>\n<li>Plan and provide transportation in SAW vehicles to community outings.</li>\n<li>Administer medication and first aid under the direction of a SAW, Inc. nurse.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School diploma or GED.</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and take initiative.</li>\n<li>Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the agency’s insurance company.</li>\n<li>Must have reliable transportation and the ability to arrive at work on time each day.</li>\n<li>Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.</li>\n<li>Obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid and DODD certifications (can be done after hire).</li>\n<li>Ability to push/pull lift 50 pounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits Offered:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>$1,200 Signing bonus!</li>\n<li>Weekly Retention bonuses during introductory period</li>\n<li>Pay increase after 90 days</li>\n<li>Medical/Dental/Vision benefits</li>\n<li>Life Insurance (company sponsored)</li>\n<li>Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays</li>\n<li>403-B with 3% match</li>\n<li>Paid training</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours of Work:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>7:15 a.m. - 2:45 p.m., Monday - Friday</p>",
