    "description": "<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Job Purpose:</span><br>To contribute to the growth, performance, and profitability by assisting with general site work, on-bench delivery of quality bulk explosives, products and services safely, on time, and in full (OTIF) (and PLTS where applicable). This role ensures adherence to established safety standards and procedures.<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Job Description:</span><br>•<br>To perform all daily tasks assigned in all plant processes and bulk material handling as per Operating<br>Instruction or Training Module<br>•<br>To perform all duties according to Safe Working Practice and SHE requirements in the open pit, magazine and plant areas to ensure safety of operations and compliance<br>•<br>To ensure the safe and correct handling of Initiation Systems, Packaged and Bulk Explosives<br>•<br>To make sure blast holes are charged to the correct stemming heights and avoid water pockets in the explosive column.<br>•<br>To ensure adherence to density specifications and compositions in final MMU product quality control<br>•<br>To effectively operate MMU and ensure strict adherence to MMU basis of safety and MMU driving procedures.<br>•<br>To ensure correct and timeous completion of required documentation related to all aspects of explosives delivery (Vehicle check lists, blast reports, incident reports).<br>•<br>To perform any other duties within his/her competencies as the demands of the job require to ensure efficient and continuous business operations</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Qualification</span><br>•<br>Minimum of SSCE, NVTI , A’Level or equivalent<br>•<br>4-8 years of experience in the explosives/mining industry<br>•<br>Valid Ghanaian driving license class “EF”<br>•<br>Mechanical/electrical engineering aptitude<br>•<br>Possession of blasting and explosives handling certificates of competency<br>•<br>Proven customer interaction skills<br>•<br>Good communication skills (verbal and written)<br>•<br>Must be able to work for long hours in the open under changing climatic conditions</p>\n<p><br>Company: Confidential</p>\n<p>Location: <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Wassa-Akyempim (Western Region)</span><br>Suitable applicants should forward their CV to [email protected] latest by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">January 23, 2025</span></p>",
