Your responsibilities will include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Developing and leading engaging, person-centered life enrichment programs that promote creativity, wellness, and social connection</li>\n <li>Creating a positive, encouraging, and educational atmosphere for Team Members</li>\n <li>Coordinating staff schedules and program coverage across the community</li>\n <li>Hiring, training, and supervising Recreational Assistants</li>\n <li>Supporting Residents’ emotional, social, spiritual, and recreational well-being</li>\n <li>Visiting Residents who are non-ambulatory or at risk of isolation and completing new Resident assessments within 48 hours</li>\n <li>Maintaining accurate program attendance records and observing/reporting Resident responses</li>\n <li>Collaborating with and supervising volunteers to support programming</li>\n <li>Managing program equipment and maintaining supply inventory</li>\n <li>Designing and distributing a monthly calendar of events</li>\n <li>Developing and implementing specialized programs for Residents with dementia</li>\n <li>Ensuring Residents are supported before, during, and after programming</li>\n <li>Completing timely documentation and using Resident assessments to personalize programming</li>\n <li>Participating in staff meetings and ongoing education sessions</li>\n <li>Bringing creativity and fresh ideas to continually enhance programming</li>\n <li>Maintaining flexibility to support evening and/or weekend programming as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Leadership Responsibilities</h3>\n<p>You’ll directly supervise members of the Life Enrichment Department, including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members</li>\n <li>Planning and directing work assignments</li>\n <li>Providing performance feedback, recognition, and coaching</li>\n <li>Addressing concerns and resolving issues in alignment with company policies</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>What You’ll Bring</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university <strong>OR</strong></li>\n <li>1–2 years of related experience and/or training <strong>OR</strong></li>\n <li>An equivalent combination of education and experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Schedule</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-time</li>\n <li><strong>Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h3>📍 Location</h3>\n<p><strong>The Glen at Willow Valley Communities</strong>675 Willow Valley SquareLancaster, PA 17602</p>\n<p> </p>",
