This role plays a vital part in ensuring the integrity of financial transactions, supporting revenue cycle operations, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in cash reconciliation processes.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Accurately post payments, adjustments, and denial transactions into the billing system in a timely manner.</p></li>\n <li><p>Reconcile daily cash receipts and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy in patient accounts.</p></li>\n <li><p>Set up and maintain access to payer web portals and other relevant systems for payment retrieval and verification.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with internal teams to research and resolve payment-related issues.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain documentation and audit trails for all payment and adjustment activity.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support month-end close activities and reporting requirements.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>High school diploma or equivalent</p></li>\n <li><p>Minimum of two years of experience in medical billing or payment reconciliation.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and internet navigation.</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and billing software preferred.</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement policies and denial codes is a plus.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We’re thrilled to announce that Curana Health has been named the 147th fastest growing, privately owned company in the nation on Inc. magazine’s prestigious Inc. 5000 list.
