The allure of Tillamook's community is complimented by access to outdoor adventures and the scenic Oregon Coast.</p>\n<p>Job Summary:</p>\n<p>Provides emergency care in the pre-hospital environment. Provides advanced-level medical care including evaluation, treatment and stabilization to the ill and injured. Has a comprehensive knowledge base and is able to diagnose and provide care for a broad range of medical emergencies. Responds to calls for emergency medical assistance, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or bandaging a wound. Assesses a patient's condition and determine a course of treatment. Provides first-aid treatment or life support care to sick or injured patients according to acceptable medical practice standards.</p>\n<p>Job Requirements:</p>\n<div>\n <p>Education and Work Experience:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required</li>\n  <li>Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred</li>\n  <li>Three years' full time experience in a 911 system: Preferred</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Paramedic license in state of practice: Required</li>\n  <li>Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) American Heart Association: Required</li>\n  <li>AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS) certification: Required</li>\n  <li>Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC) or equivalent: Preferred</li>\n  <li>Valid Driver’s License (DL) and must be at least 21 yrs of age or older: Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Facility Specific License/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required</li>\n  <li>ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Essential Functions:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Provides individualized care plan for patient presentation according to acceptable medical practice standards, issued standing orders, on-line medical control and department policies and procedures.</li>\n  <li>Provides emergency care in the pre-hospital environment.</li>\n  <li>Provides fundamental components of patient comfort, safety, privacy and respect within the perioperative setting. Identifies and develops areas of expertise within the surgical specialties.</li>\n  <li>Conducts emergency medical classes as requested by department manager.</li>\n  <li>Administers oral and intravenous medications.
