    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div>\n <p>The Regional Operations Director is responsible for leading safe trucking operations while delivering high service and overall cost performance at 5-7 terminal locations across the country. The Director will interact with all levels of company personnel to collaboratively develop opportunities to reduce dray cost and improve service performance. This position&nbsp;will&nbsp;directly lead a team of Terminal Managers and their teams of front line managers and Company Drivers and/or Owner Operators in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</p>\n</div>\n<div>\n <div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n  <p><strong>Essential&nbsp;Job&nbsp;Functions:</strong></p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Accountable for the overall performance of 5-7 terminals</li>\n   <li>Primary areas of accountability include:&nbsp; productivity, service, safety, CSA performance, loaded mile ratio, driver retention, working driver percentage, cost per dray management, and asset management</li>\n   <li>Responsible for the creation and implementation&nbsp;of strategic and annual business plans for assigned terminals</li>\n   <li>Conduct monthly results reviews with direct reports to facilitate leader growth and key factor achievement</li>\n   <li>Develop and deliver strategies to provide superior service to customers&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Implement, analyze and monitor processes to ensure goals are met</li>\n   <li>Ensure that a safe working environment is provided for all employees and owner operators</li>\n   <li>Maintain compliance with all Company policies and procedures, codes of conduct, and federal and state department of transportation rules and regulations</li>\n   <li>Create an atmosphere of trust and teamwork that values the contributions of all employees and owner operators in support of a high performance culture</li>\n   <li>Lead continuous improvement efforts and special project teams</li>\n   <li>Lead and develop internal staff through the use of individual development plans, goal setting and monthly results reviews</li>\n   <li>Provide on the spot coaching when needed</li>\n   <li>Build a sustainable culture that delivers best-in-class&nbsp;safety results</li>\n   <li>Conduct annual and semiannual performance appraisals with office staff</li>\n   <li>Develop leadership talent to support organizational growth objectives</li>\n   <li>Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n </div>\n</div>\n<div>\n <div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred</li>\n   <li>7 – 10 years of leadership experience with proven track record of delivering results</li>\n   <li>Experience in transportation (truckload or intermodal) operations is preferred</li>\n   <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required</li>\n   <li>Experience with transportation management systems&nbsp;is preferred&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,&nbsp;with the&nbsp;ability to effectively interact&nbsp;with all levels of&nbsp;the organization and develop productive business relationships</li>\n   <li>Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills</li>\n   <li>Proven ability for cross functional leadership and project management, with fiscal accountability&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Strategic planning and tactical implementation skills</li>\n   <li>Effective team building and leadership of remote locations</li>\n   <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities as well as flexibility to adapt to change with new systems and methods while working in a team environment</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000/year base salary plus eligibility for additional incentive/equity programs&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <p><i><strong>This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however it may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.</strong></i></p>\n  <p><strong>Benefits&nbsp;</strong>We offer a comprehensive benefits plan including:</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Medical</li>\n   <li>Dental&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Vision</li>\n   <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li>\n   <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li>\n   <li>Life &amp; AD&amp;D Insurance</li>\n   <li>Disability</li>\n   <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n   <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p>&nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n</div>",
