    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;' data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Job Summary</span></strong></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">The NDT Recovery lead performs NDT inspections (UT, MT, VT) and evaluations to assess the quality of the pipes and perform the workmanship to repair, downgrade or reject pipes in accordance with the applicable standards. Supervises and trains personnel at the recovery area.</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Main Responsibilities</span></strong></p><p>&bull; Printout results of UT scan and prove-up when requested.</p><p>&bull; Maintain file of UT readouts.</p><p>&bull; Submit daily reports on pipe ultrasonically inspected.</p><p>&bull; Maintain housekeeping in the recovery pipe area.</p><p>&bull; Perform other functions assigned by Supervisor.</p><p>&bull; Operates cranes to move pipe to and from UT unit.</p><p>&bull; Standardizes UT units using Reference Standards Pipes and calibration blocks.</p><p>&bull; Sets UT crab type and equipment for correct size.</p><p>&bull; Ultrasonically inspects weld longitudinal seam.</p><p>&bull; Inspects seam to determine if pipe is acceptable under the applicable specification and code.</p><p>&bull; Uses ultrasonic unit to evaluate indications from the UT scanning operation.</p><p>&bull; Is responsible for the repair activities in his shift.</p><p>&bull; Prepare reports showing pipe numbers and all data applicable to UT of pipe.</p><p>&bull; Cut samples for the metallographic lab when needed.</p><p>&bull; Performs magnetic particle inspection for end of tubes and weld line inspection.</p><p>&bull; Repairs bevels using the beveller tool.</p><p>&bull; Performs lamination inspections when required.</p><p>&bull; Performs dedicated visual and dimensional inspections to evaluate indications using specials tools.</p><p>&bull; Accepts, downgrades, and rejects pipes in accordance with the applicable standards</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Qualifications</span></strong></p><p>&bull; High School Diploma, OR Equivalency Certificate, (GED, etc.)</p><p>&bull; 3 years of experience as NDT Level II in UT, MT and VT methods.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">&bull; 2 years equivalent experience in related field OR, Proof of training in an area related to the job assignment.</p><p>&bull; Advanced knowledge in hand-held measuring devices, grinding, operation of thickness gauges and depth gauges.</p><p>&bull; Moderate to Advanced PC Skills in Microsoft Applications, ie, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint</p><p>&bull; Able to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to follow job and safety requirements.</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Physical Requirements</span></strong></p><p><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">&bull; Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">&bull; Frequently required to use hands, reach with arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">&bull; Occasionally required to sit.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">&bull; Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:15px;\"><strong>&bull;&nbsp;</strong>Must be able to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures, and noise levels.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Axis Pipe and Tube LLC,</span></strong></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">SAFETY &amp; QUALITY ARE OUR COMMITMENT</span></strong></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Axis Pipe and Tube is committed to helping our partners in the oil and gas industry achieve superior results.
