We celebrate victories for animals, support one another across teams, and embrace new approaches that help us grow our impact.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Objectives:</strong></p><p>To serve as the Senior Vice President of Development’s primary strategic partner by coordinating department-wide initiatives, advancing innovative approaches to fundraising, and ensuring successful execution of key priorities across the Development Department, while working closely with the Deputy Director on cross-functional projects.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities and Duties:</strong></p><p>• Collaborate with the SVP of Development to design, prioritize, and execute department-wide strategies that emphasize innovation and forward-thinking initiatives</p><p>• Work closely with the Deputy Director to coordinate, advance, and implement cross-team projects that drive departmental evolution</p><p>• Strengthen cross-team alignment across Major Gifts, Digital Fundraising, Direct Response, Membership, Events, Legacy Gifts, and Catalog teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation</p><p>• Develop strategic frameworks and project plans that support transformative initiatives and long-range goals</p><p>• Identify opportunities to elevate systems, processes, and collaboration, and implement solutions that enhance strategic alignment</p><p>• Lead major cross-team projects focused on technology enhancements, AI and automation initiatives, donor experience improvements, and pioneering fundraising pilots that expand PETA’s impact</p><p>• Coordinate leadership communications, prepare reports and presentations, and support messaging that highlights innovative efforts</p><p>• Track progress on strategic initiatives, proactively address risks or resource needs, and adapt plans to ensure success</p><p>• Represent the SVP in selected internal meetings and cross-functional groups, advocating for a culture of innovation&nbsp;</p><p>• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor</p>",
