In order to further expand our fast-growing offering, we are looking for a General Ledger Accountant who will help us to support organizations in outsourcing finance, accounting and tax processes.</span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">Main responsibilities &amp; duties</span></span></span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"> </span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">Checks and validates that the entries in the accounting system are in line with the applicable reporting requirements. Journal entries for non Accounts Payables/Accounts Receivables</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"> </span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">Performs month-end and year-end closing operations in accordance with the statutory reporting requirements</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"> </span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">Manages accruals and prepayments </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"> </span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">Collaborates with the client representative for the ERP/reporting system customization. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"> </span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">Review the annual statutory financial statements and the half-yearly accounting records</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"> </span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">Review the monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns for VAT and corporate tax as applicable. </span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"> </span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">Timely identify possible accounting and tax compliance issues and communicate s these to manager or Partner.</span></li>\r\n<li><span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"> </span></span><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">Coordinates the accounting assistant/team and provide guidance on the accounting and tax work. </span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #1f497d;\">Requirements &amp;
