If this position interests you, but you don’t meet every qualification listed below, we still encourage you to apply — your unique experiences and perspectives may be just what we’re looking for.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Read more about our core values (driven, dependable, &amp; collaborative) <a href=\"https://eastpointenergy.com/core-values/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here</a>.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Title: Business Development Summer Associate</span></p>\n<p>The Business Development Summer Associate is responsible for supporting and executing specific projects (generally described below) working closely with East Point’s Director of Business Development.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct market research on energy storage markets, customers and competitors</li>\n<li>Support outreach to prospective customers and partners</li>\n<li>Assist with development of value propositions and proposals</li>\n<li>Create client presentations, pitch decks and other business development materials</li>\n<li>Support preparation for customer meetings and presentations</li>\n<li>Create Salesforce reports and dashboards for pipeline tracking and regular reporting</li>\n<li>Assist with basic commercial or quantitative analyses</li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal teams to gather inputs for proposals and presentations</li>\n<li>Support process improvements for business development tools and reporting</li>\n<li>Participate in internal strategy discussions and customer calls as appropriate</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interest in clean energy, energy storage or infrastructure</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and communication skills</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate across a broad spectrum of technical understanding</li>\n<li>Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; Salesforce experience a plus</li>\n<li>Able to manage multiple tasks and projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Characteristics of an ideal candidate:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative problem-solving ability and solutions-oriented mindset</li>\n<li>Self-starter with a desire to succeed and a focus on creating value</li>\n<li>Team player and leader, proactive attitude</li>\n<li>Organized, attention to detail</li>\n<li>Comfortable with a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment</li>\n<li>Ability to make informed decisions quickly</li>\n<li>Integrity and accountability</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Education &amp; Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current MBA student</li>\n<li>Experience in sales, account management or consulting</li>\n<li>Experience in energy industry preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Travel &amp; Time Commitment:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>No travel required</li>\n<li>Internship; 40 hours/week during our regular hours of operation, 8:30AM - 5PM (30 min unpaid lunch) </li>\n<li>8 -10 weeks (June-August), based on candidate availability.
