You'll assist with proposal development and manage smaller projects and key accounts as directed. Collaboration with Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Salespeople will be essential in this role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the individual projects of the Account Manager</li><li>Act as the liaison between the customer and the Account Manager</li><li>Stay up to date on all products/systems/offerings within the industry</li><li>Collaborate with Account Managers to evaluate customer needs, design and present the best solution to the customer</li><li>Collaborate with Account Managers to visit customer sites and interface with appropriate customer contacts</li><li>Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget</li><li>Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects</li><li>Develop and prepare effective proposals to provide to Account/Prospect</li><li>Interact with clients to identify and define project requirements</li><li>Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track the progress of each open job</li><li>Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs</li><li>Perform risk management to minimize project risks</li><li>Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors</li><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation</li><li>Adhere to company project management processes</li><li>Analyze and review the project after completion to identify improvement opportunities</li><li>Share project results and best practices within the team and company</li><li>Participate in internal projects as required</li><li>Manages low-complexity projects</li><li>Submit engineering prelim requests</li><li>Assists with verifying counts/design for upcoming projects</li><li>Complete low- to moderately-complex proposals</li><li>Provide day-to-day support to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers</li></ul><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>Highly detail-oriented, ability to manage critical deadlines</li><li>Ability to multitask effectively &amp; prioritize &amp; execute tasks</li><li>Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential</li><li>Ability to work through project issues with customers in a timely manner</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills: In-person meetings, email, phone calls</li><li>Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies</li><li>Strong technical aptitude – highly knowledgeable of industry systems including complex integrated systems and components</li><li>BA/BS or equivalent experience</li></ul><p><strong>PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Fast-Paced Multi-Tasker</li><li>Attention to Details</li><li>Strong work ethic</li><li>Ability to follow through with tasks given by colleagues and complete them on time</li></ul><p><strong>WORK CONDITIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Office &amp; field oriented position with some overnight travel to project sites required</li><li>Overtime will be required when needed</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why work for Storage Solutions - A Jungheinrich Company?</strong></p><p><em>Our greatest asset is our people.
