As an experienced Field Engineer, you will leverage your technical knowledge to oversee critical aspects of our projects, ensuring construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes and contract specifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Bring your diverse ideas to build stronger, more resilient communities.​</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Apply now and transform your career with us.</p>\n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Planifier et veiller à la bonne coordination des travaux avec les contremaîtres, arpenteurs, surintendants, ingénieurs,chargés de projet et sous-traitants;</li>\n <li>Planifier, superviser et participer à l’élaboration des méthodes et procédés de construction appropriés liés aux exigences contractuelles, tout en respectant les exigences en matière de santé et sécurité en vigueur;</li>\n <li>Collaborer à l’estimation et aux soumissions de projets;</li>\n <li>Participer aux réunions avec les clients, ingénieurs et chargés de projet;</li>\n <li>Assister, réviser et communiquer les questions techniques et les demandes de modification au représentant du client et effectuer les suivis nécessaires;</li>\n <li>Obtenir les permis et les autorisations requises pour l’exécution des travaux;</li>\n <li>Planifier et vérifier les commandes de matériaux (pièces métalliques diverses, coffrage, armature, etc.);</li>\n <li>Faire le suivi (validation du contenu) des dessins d’atelier et autres documents contractuels exigés au besoin;</li>\n <li>Coordonner la conception des ouvrages temporaires requis pour l’avancement du chantier avec les ingénieurs concepteurs;</li>\n <li>Participer à la réalisation et la mise à jour des échéanciers de projet;</li>\n <li>Inspecter et documenter la qualité des ouvrages temporaire et/ou permanents du projet </li>\n <li>Effectuer diverses tâches de suivi sur le chantier.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan and ensure proper coordination of work with foremen, surveyors, superintendents, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.</li>\n <li>Plan, supervise, and participate in the development of construction methods and procedures appropriate to contractual requirements while complying with current health and safety standards.</li>\n <li>Collaborate on project estimating and bidding.</li>\n <li>Participate in meetings with clients, engineers, and project managers.</li>\n <li>Assist with, review, and communicate technical questions and change requests to the client’s representative and carry out the required follow-ups.</li>\n <li>Obtain all permits and authorizations required for the execution of the work.</li>\n <li>Plan and verify material orders (various metal components, formwork, reinforcement, etc.).</li>\n <li>Follow up on shop drawings and other required contractual documents (content validation).</li>\n <li>Coordinate the design of temporary works required for site progress with design engineers.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the creation and updating of project schedules.</li>\n <li>Inspect and document the quality of temporary and/or permanent project works.</li>\n <li>Perform various site follow-up tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Baccalauréat en génie civil, en génie de la construction, en technologie du génie civil ou toute autre combinaison pertinente d’expérience et de formation</li>\n <li>Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en construction</li>\n <li>Maîtrise de Microsoft Word et Excel, connaissance de base de MS Project; AutoCAD est un atout</li>\n <li>Sens marqué de l’urgence;Excellentes aptitudes en planification, organisation et relations interpersonnelles</li>\n <li>Capacité démontrée à faire preuve d’initiative, de discrétion et de professionnalisme</li>\n <li>Personne prévoyante, capable de gérer la pression et disponible au besoin</li>\n <li>Rigueur et souci du détail;Excellente capacité à lire et interpréter les plans et devis</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p> \n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or any other combination of experience and equivalent training</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
