    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Abacus Technology is seeking an Asset and Software License Manager to support organizational IT assets, software licensing, and compliance with hardware/software usage policies for the Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TAAS) program at Hanscom AFB.  This is a full-time position.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the primary manager for all organizational IT assets and software licenses.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware, software, and associated licensing documentation.</li>\n <li>Track asset life cycle activities including procurement, deployment, transfer, maintenance, and disposal.</li>\n <li>Monitor software usage and ensure compliance with licensing agreements and organizational policies.</li>\n <li>Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of IT assets and software licenses.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all hardware and software requests meet organizational and security requirements.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain processes for asset accountability and license management.</li>\n <li>Provide reporting and metrics related to asset utilization, licensing status, and compliance.</li>\n <li>Interpret and enforce organizational policies regarding approved and prohibited hardware/software.</li>\n <li>Advise personnel on IT compliance requirements and acceptable technology usage.</li>\n <li>Assist in evaluating software and hardware requests for compliance with security and operational standards.</li>\n <li>Support implementation and maintenance of IT governance processes and documentation.</li>\n <li>Ensure systems and assets comply with applicable cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Provide limited COMSEC support as required, including accountability and handling procedures.</li>\n <li>Support cyber security compliance initiatives and inspections.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with security and IT personnel to ensure adherence to organizational security standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>5+ years experience in asset and inventory management.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Must be Security+ certified.  Experience managing IT assets, inventory systems, or software licensing programs.  Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance requirements, and cyber security policies.  Knowledge of hardware/software approval processes and regulatory restrictions.  Knowledge of prohibited hardware/software on DoD computers.  Able to interpret policies and confidently enforce compliance standards.  Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and confident in interpreting and enforcing IT compliance standards, policies, and procedures.  Familiarity with COMSEC procedures and accountability requirements preferred.  Experience supporting DoD, federal, or government IT environments.  Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.  Must be capable of working with all levels of an organization and interacting in a professional manner.  Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The projected compensation range for this position is $128,800-$153,100. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
