The Maintenance A will be responsible for implementing preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, collaborating with the engineering team to optimize processes, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ability to work hands-on and adapt to a dynamic manufacturing setting is essential for success in this role. Works in any area on site as directed while adhering to proper safety protocol. This role is located in <strong>Mars, PA </strong>and will be fully on-site. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Starting Pay:</strong><strong> $44.08</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong><strong> All shifts availability based on business needs</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Pay Schedule:</strong><strong> Weekly</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Maintenance A </strong><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Determines sequence and process flow for production equipment</li>\n <li>Inspect mill equipment and determine necessary electrical and/or mechanical adjustments or repairs required</li>\n <li>Procures necessary drawings and manuals and interprets same to insure proper functioning of equipment</li>\n <li>Determine cause of mill equipment breakdown or failure and proceed to make necessary repairs</li>\n <li>Plans details of working procedure and determine material or replacement needs along with supervisor arranges personnel to perform the necessary work</li>\n <li>Analyzes all types of circuits, wiring diagrams, etc., as required to install, repair, calibrate or otherwise service all types of mill electronic devices and systems</li>\n <li>Assembles, inspects, adjusts, repairs, or replaces faulty electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical parts</li>\n <li>Fabricate parts to print using welders, cutting torch, hand tools as necessary</li>\n <li>Adjusts mill equipment to assure proper operating characteristics</li>\n <li>Observes safety regulations, such as locking out equipment when necessary and maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition</li>\n <li>Taking training classes as directed to keep up to date on improved technology</li>\n <li>All other job duties assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Maintenance A Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent Communication and Training skills to collaborate effectively within teams</li>\n <li>Proficient Analytical Skills for problem-solving and equipment diagnostics</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on safety and efficiency</li>\n <li>Previous experience in industrial maintenance or a relevant technical field</li>\n <li>Eligible candidate must hold Journeyman trade paper, Military equivalent, or a 2 year Technical degree</li>\n <li>Must have ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics without direct supervision as well as the ability to diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics and water systems as well as corresponding equipment associated with the operation.</li>\n <li>A welding certification or welding experience with the ability to layout and fabricate per written and verbal instructions.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology is a plus</li>\n <li>Able to lift 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Not afraid of heights</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Joining Wieland’s team gives you…</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Benefits</strong> - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!</li>\n <li><strong>Retirement Savings</strong> - 401(k) contribution + match.</li>\n <li><strong>Work/Life Balance</strong> - Paid Vacation & Holidays.</li>\n <li><strong>Growth Opportunities</strong> - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
