    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This candidate will be integrally involved in the daily transportation need of the Groton Shipyard, including but not limited to: forklifts, trucks, tractor trailers, and transporters, which may include moves made off-site.  Must have detailed knowledge of transportation responsibilities and be capable of directing multi-trade personnel as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management.  Individual will be in charge of material flow throughout the shipyard, off-site locations, Quonset Point, and major moves.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a second shift position.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years transportation experience such as FDFL, truck driver, Scheuerle operator, and or transportation planner</li>\n <li>Knowledge of CT and Federal DOT regulations</li>\n <li>Must possess strong PC Skills such as MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Passport, Mainframe, Oracle</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel locally to support Groton and off-site major moves </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years leadership experience</li>\n <li>Bachelors Degree</li>\n <li>Knowledge of fleet operations</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Transporter Operations</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving Operations</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Corrigo, PEWO's, and VReq's</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Individual must be well organized and self motivated with strong leadership qualities</li>\n <li>Must have ability to multi-task and interface with all levels of management</li>\n <li>Candidate must be good communicator and be capable of directing multi-trade personnels</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Qualifications</h2>Climbing, Color Vision, Crawling, Heavy Lifting, Kneeling, Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting\n<h2>Environmental Attributes</h2>Acids or Alkalis, Cold, Dry, Dusty, Fumes, Hot, Inside, Noise, Oily, Outside, Wet",
