    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Safety Manager</strong> supervises all safety efforts on a single large project with direct reports.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supports all safety efforts on the project and promotes the <em>Gilbane Cares</em> safety culture</li>\n <li>Ensures contractor activities are preplanned for safety through scope review, preconstruction meetings, JHA review, STAs, etc.</li>\n <li>Ensures contractors meet Gilbane safety submittal requirements</li>\n <li>Ensures contractor compliance with Gilbane safety plan & expectations</li>\n <li>Maintains all safety related documentation</li>\n <li>Makes recommendations concerning situations hazardous to employee safety or health</li>\n <li>Utilizes SafetyNet to Audit and monitor project team implementation of the Safety Plan</li>\n <li>Performs at least 15 SafetyNet inspections per month with at least 100 observations in each inspection</li>\n <li>Provides and analyzes SafetyNet trending reports with project team and develops action plans</li>\n <li>Coaches project team in effective hazard identification and correction of issues using SafetyNet</li>\n <li>Investigates all accidents/near misses and complete all paperwork required</li>\n <li>Ensures project teams have safety equipment and resources</li>\n <li>Serves as project liaison and manages project correspondence with Insurance carriers</li>\n <li>Provides safety training to project teams on Gilbane, client, and OSHA requirements</li>\n <li>Trains direct reports on processes, procedures, and completion of daily tasks</li>\n <li>Manages workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with overall company standards</li>\n <li>Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members</li>\n <li>Aids in communicating company and department strategy to direct reports</li>\n <li>Collaborates closely with business development to ensure seamless integration with sales strategies including performance metrics on your assigned projects, pursuits, and client deliverables. Plan for and support development of individual skills and abilities. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety Management or Engineering preferred</li>\n <li>4-5 years of construction safety management experience</li>\n <li>BCSP credential</li>\n <li>Certified and authorized instructor by GU and OSHA to teach safety courses to employees and contractors</li>\n <li>Or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive knowledge of construction safety and health principles, techniques, methods, regulations, and interpretations</li>\n <li>Capable of identifying current and future potential exposures and recommending corrective action</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Developing management and leadership skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.</p>\n<p>For (Minnesota) this ranges from $99,600-$125,600 plus benefits and retirement program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Next 150 Construction Services has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring about everyone involved in our work. </em></p>\n<p><em>Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Next 150 Construction Services is not accepting unsolicited resumes from third party recruiters at this time.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Next 150 Construction Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
