The Role: We’re hiring an Agency Sales Development Representative to drive new agency acquisition and revenue growth at First Connect. This is a high-activity, outbound, hunter-style role focused on identifying, engaging, qualifying, and converting independent insurance agencies into active First Connect partners. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment, enjoys owning a full sales cycle, and is energized by hitting (and exceeding) targets. What You’ll Do: High Activity & Pipeline Management Manage a high-velocity pipeline of outbound leads with a strong focus on daily activity and consistent follow-up Execute high-volume outreach across phone, email, and other channels to engage and qualify prospects Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date CRM records including notes, tasks, and next steps Hunter Sales Mentality Proactively source and pursue new agency opportunities Own the full sales cycle from first touch to close and activation Confidently overcome objections and navigate buying concerns Consistently meet and exceed activity, conversion, and revenue targets Consultative Selling & Closing Identify prospect pain points and position First Connect’s value propositions as the solution Lead discovery, demo, and closing conversations tailored to each agency’s needs Execute an effective and repeatable sales process to convert leads into activated FC Agencies with short sales cycles Process, Technical & Customer Discipline Follow defined sales processes while also contributing to continuous improvement Maintain strong calendar management, follow-up discipline, and internal communication Deliver on commitments to prospects and customers with a high standard of reliability and professionalism Adaptability & Optimization Analyze what’s working and what’s not in your pipeline, messaging, and approach — and adjust tactics accordingly Share insights and feedback to improve messaging, positioning, and conversion rates Remain flexible and proactive as priorities and strategies evolve What You’ll Bring: 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management (preferably in insurance, SaaS, fintech, or a related field) Comfort working in a high-volume, high-activity sales environment Strong consultative selling and closing skills High level of self-motivation, accountability, and ownership Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfort working with CRM systems and sales tools A growth mindset and desire to continuously improve Benefits & Perks: First Connect treats its team members with the same level of dedication and care as we do our customers, which is why we’re fortunate to provide our team with: Multiple medical plans to choose from and 100% employer-covered dental; vision plans for our team members and their families A 401(k) retirement plan, short- and long-term disability, employer-paid life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for health and dependent care, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Work-From-Home Stipend — Employer-provided WFH equipment and an $85 monthly expense stipend to ensure you’re set up for success Equity — This position is eligible for equity compensation Training and Career Growth — Training and internal career growth opportunities Flexible Time Off — You know when and how you should recharge The base pay range for the role is $65,000 – $70,000.
