If you have a passion for structural engineering and want to drive excellence in building facilities and infrastructure projects, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With over <strong>15 years of experience</strong> in building structures and a strong technical background, you will guide a capable team in delivering a variety of projects, including <strong>commercial and institutional buildings, waterfront structures, transit facilities, and water treatment plants</strong>. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring quality deliverables, nurturing client relationships, and expanding our client base across both public and private sectors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The majority of the client base is public sector, but a more diverse public-private balance is desirable.</strong> This group has delivered projects using both the design-bid-build and design-build procurement methodologies. Technical tools and technical systems are in place, including state-of-the-art analysis software, quality control procedures, and production platforms, including design standards and project delivery in BIM.</p>\n<h3><strong>Key Required Skills:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Bachelor's degree</strong> in Civil/Structural Engineering; <strong>Master's degree preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity (example through Comity) within the State in which the position is posted within six (6) months. </li>\n <li>Proven experience in <strong>managing project teams</strong> and complex multi-discipline projects</li>\n <li>Strong leadership abilities with a track record of supervising teams effectively</li>\n <li>Expertise in the design of <strong>structural steel and reinforced concrete structures</strong>, particularly for water and wastewater treatment</li>\n <li>Experience in <strong>business development</strong> and preparing client proposals</li>\n</ul>\n<p>At Dewberry, we pride ourselves on our people and the exceptional service we provide. Hybrid work options are available based on experience.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.</li>\n <li>Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred).</li>\n <li>Minimum of 15 years of experience with a strong technical background in building structures and related engineering.</li>\n <li>A PE License in one or more states.</li>\n <li>Strong leadership talents and demonstrated success supervising people.</li>\n <li>Experience in managing project teams.</li>\n <li>Private and public sector building structures experience managing projects and clients is highly desirable.</li>\n <li>Experience in managing staff utilization and maintaining project manpower budgets.</li>\n <li>Experience in developing private and public sector client proposals, including technical and fee proposals.</li>\n <li>A strong desire to engage in business development activities in order to meet growth, client</li>\n <li>diversity, and profit goals.</li>\n <li>Experience with design of structural steel and reinforced concrete building structures.</li>\n <li>Experience with design of water treatment and wastewater treatment structures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Don’t meet every single requirement?
