This role is critical to ensuring seamless procurement, inventory management, distribution, and vendor coordination to support high-quality patient care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Logistics Manager will oversee both on-site and offshore support teams, manage our warehouse operations, and streamline systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. This role requires hands-on leadership, deep knowledge of healthcare purchasing, and the ability to work cross-functionally with clinical, administrative, and finance teams.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<h4><strong>Strategic Supply Chain Management</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee the full lifecycle of the supply chain—including purchasing, receiving, inventory, warehousing, and distribution—for outpatient medical sites.</li>\n <li>Lead the development and implementation of standardized supply chain procedures and cost-containment strategies.</li>\n <li>Ensure all processes align with healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and operational needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4><strong>Operational Efficiency</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Streamline and automate the <strong>request-to-receive</strong> process for medical and office supplies.</li>\n <li>Maximize the use of <strong>Envi</strong> for inventory tracking, procurement, and reporting; train staff and ensure consistent system usage.</li>\n <li>Reduce operational costs through vendor standardization, leveraging <strong>GPOs</strong>, and ongoing contract and pricing reviews.</li>\n <li>Limit non-preferred payment methods (e.g., AMEX) and ensure proper invoice processing and reconciliation.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4><strong>Inventory & Warehouse Oversight</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage centralized warehouse operations, including staffing, inventory control, and supply distribution to outpatient sites.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory lists; eliminate redundancies and reduce overstock.</li>\n <li>Ensure timely restocking of medical supplies and support continuity of care at all locations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4><strong>Team Leadership & Development</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a diverse team, including onshore and offshore supply chain staff.</li>\n <li>Conduct regular performance reviews, lead training sessions, and recruit new team members as needed.</li>\n <li>Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4><strong>Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Build strong relationships with vendors and meet regularly to review performance, pricing, and contract compliance.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with clinical teams, finance, and compliance to ensure transparency and resolve supply-related issues.</li>\n <li>Provide leadership with regular updates on supply chain KPIs, cost-saving initiatives, and operational challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4><strong>Budget & Reporting</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to the development of the annual supply chain budget and monitor adherence throughout the year.</li>\n <li>Generate and present regular reports on purchasing trends, inventory usage, and vendor performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p> </p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.</li>\n   <li><strong>5+ years of experience</strong> in logistics or supply chain management in a <strong>healthcare or outpatient setting</strong>.</li>\n   <li><strong>2+ years of supervisory experience</strong>, including managing remote/offshore teams.</li>\n   <li>Proficiency in procurement systems (experience with <strong>Envi</strong> strongly preferred).</li>\n   <li>Strong understanding of vendor management, GPO contracts, and medical supply workflows.</li>\n   <li>Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.</li>\n   <li>Ability to work on-site in the Bronx and travel to multiple clinic locations, as needed.</li>\n  </ul><h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></h3>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience in multi-site outpatient or ambulatory care operations</li>\n   <li>Familiarity with healthcare compliance and clinical supply chain needs</li>\n   <li>Experience with warehouse operations in a healthcare environment</li>\n   <li> </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary: $75,000-$85,000</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health Care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically-diverse population.</em></strong> </p>\n<p> </p>",
