No sponsorship is available for this position.</p><p>Ramboll is seeking an experienced ecologist for three primary regions: mid-Atlantic with a base of operations in our metro region with a base of operations in Philadelphia, PA, Blue Bell, PA, or Princeton, NJ office. Our ecology team supports clients with a wide range of environmental issues including biodiversity and ecosystem services, habitat assessment, wetland delineation restoration, and resiliency. This position will work with all levels of expertise from entry level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. Consultants are part of a continual learning environment where they learn through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job tasks.</p><p>Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Planning ecological assessments and monitoring studies</li><li>Collecting field data or overseeing data collection</li><li>Conducting wetland delineation, forest stand delineation, and identification of jurisdictional resources</li><li>Statistically analyzing data</li><li>Producing figures and tables for reports</li><li>Preparing permit applications, supporting documents, reports and communicating results to clients</li><li>Publishing and presenting findings to peers and stakeholders</li><li>Actively participating in a growing network of Ramboll sustainability practitioners that span our services across environment/health, energy, and water.</li></ul>",

For this role, your starting point is:</p><ul><li>B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in a discipline relevant to ecology and biodiversity such as terrestrial ecology, marine ecology, restoration, forestry, wildlife ecology, environmental science, toxicology, chemistry, climate change, or landscape science</li><li>At least 1-3 years of ecological or related experience (work done as a graduate student can count toward this requirement; work done outside of the discipline does not count towards this requirement)</li><li>Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing</li><li>Proactive and advanced critical thinking skills</li><li>40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
