Supervises swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.</u></p><p><u>Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.</u></p><p><u>Ensures cleanliness around all areas surrounding the aquatics facility.</u></p><p><u>Lifeguards must conduct thorough inspections of pool facilities, equipment, and water to verify the safety and functionality for swimmers use.</u></p><p><u>As a Recreation Lifeguard, assertiveness and customer service play key roles in the overall effectiveness of the position.</u></p><p>Rate of pay (Pay Scale Guide):&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;$ 12/Hour paid on the 15th of the month following the month when the work was performed (e.g. work performed in June, is paid on July 15)&nbsp;</p><p>Qualifications: Red Cross life guard certification required.</p><p style='margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;margin-top:0in;margin-bottom:10.0pt;line-height:115%;margin:0in;background:white;' id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"color:#414141;\">Schedule</span><span style=\"color:#414141;\">: If offered work study employment, supervisors will coordinate work hours based on student&rsquo;s class schedule.
