This position involves access control management, perimeter monitoring, and 24/7 site protection through gate duties and patrol activities. The successful candidate will ensure site security by controlling access, maintaining vigilance against unauthorized activities, and enforcing established security protocols.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>The Unarmed Construction Security Officer will be responsible for the following:</u></strong></p><p><strong>Gate Guard Duties</strong></p><ol><li>Monitor and control the primary access point to the construction site during operational hours</li><li>Verify identification of all personnel, visitors, and contractors against approved access lists</li><li>Validate vehicle access permissions for authorized companies and individuals</li><li>Operate movable traffic barriers to control ingress and egress</li><li>Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic to appropriate entry points for validation</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of all site entries and exits</li></ol><p><strong>Access Control Management</strong></p><ol><li>Enforce strict access control protocols at primary and alternative entry points</li><li>Collaborate with the General Contractor to maintain the current electronic access lists</li><li>Conduct manual ID verification against government-issued identification</li><li>Operate technical security systems as required</li><li>Ensure only authorized personnel enter construction areas</li><li>Staff alternative access points when required for deliveries or equipment movement</li></ol><p><strong>24/7 Patrol Operations</strong></p><ol><li>Conduct regular perimeter patrols during non-construction hours</li><li>Closely monitor and maintain access control on interior construction areas</li><li>Perform randomized site inspections to detect unauthorized activity</li><li>Document and report any security incidents or safety concerns</li><li>Respond to alarms and emergency situations according to established protocols</li></ol><p><strong>Administrative Duties</strong></p><ol><li>Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation</li><li>Coordinate with the General Contractor on access list updates</li><li>Follow established &quot;post orders&quot; and security procedures</li><li>Communicate effectively with construction personnel and management</li><li>Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Required Qualifications:</u></strong></p><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ol><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Previous security experience preferred, construction site experience a plus</li><li>Valid security guard license as required by state/local regulations</li><li>Clean background check and drug screening</li><li>U.S. Citizenship</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong></p><ol><li>Strong attention to detail and observational skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities</li><li>Proficiency with electronic access control systems</li><li>Ability to work independently and make sound decisions</li><li>Physical capability to conduct walking patrols and stand for extended periods</li><li>Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic access lists</li><li>Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and periodic random drug screening.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements:</u></strong></p><ol><li>Must be able to bend at the waist, knees, and waist.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have the physical ability to perform a variety of training functions.</li><li>Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, walk long distances in a training facility, and operate equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be physically capable of standing an 8-hour post.</li><li>Capability to walk/patrol construction site perimeters</li><li>Visual acuity sufficient for ID verification and site monitoring</li><li>Physical stamina for extended periods of standing and walking</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ol><li>8-hour rotating shift schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Outdoor work environment at an active construction site</li><li>Exposure to construction noise, dust, and varying weather conditions</li><li>Must work independently with no on-site supervision or backup</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Patriot Group International LLC.</u></strong> is a global mission support service provider with expeditionary capabilities, providing services to select clients within the intelligence, defense, and private sectors. &nbsp;PGI is a veteran-owned and operated company with experience performing in over 50 countries, including austere and high-threat environments.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>DISCLAIMER:</u></strong><br>&nbsp;<strong>Patriot Group International LLC.</strong> is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
