    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Sr. Medical Laboratory Scientist - Clifton, NJ, Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with rotational weekends&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Department: Clinical Lab - Auto Chemistry</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Senior Medical Technologist is proficient in all principle duties of a Medical Technologist I and II. This Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for complex laboratory testing and has broad decision-making authority and independence. The Senior Med Tech is required to provide technical direction to staff regarding complex and non-routine testing and is a source of contact of inquiries from clients or sales representatives.&nbsp;The Senior is responsible for investigating and resolving analytical testing problems and recommending course of action.&nbsp;The Senior is responsible for training and development of staff under the direction of the Supervisor in accordance with the appropriate federal, state and local guidelines.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Pay range: $33.81 - $55.81 / hour; </strong>employee may be eligible to receive shift differential of 10% for some or all hours worked on second shift and 15% for some or all hours worked on third shift. Additional details on shift differential will be provided if an offer is extended.</p>\n<p>Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
