    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">The Software Engineer-Python will join an agile development team responsible for developing, integrating and maintaining Python based systems and applications that support our data analytics, reporting, system integration and data science initiatives. &nbsp;</p><p>The Software Engineer-Python should be passionate about code quality and software excellence, with extensive development experience. &nbsp;Collaborating closely with other analysts, architects, and team members is a must. &nbsp;This role blends software engineering, data management, and analytical problem solving to drive business insights and efficiency.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><em><u>Job Requirements &nbsp;</u></em></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Design, develop, and maintain Python applications for data processing, analytics, system integration, and reporting.&nbsp;</li><li>Integrate internal and external systems through APIs, databases, and automation scripts.&nbsp;</li><li>Build, optimize, and document ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows for structured and unstructured data.&nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with business teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable, reliable solutions.&nbsp;</li><li>Implement best practices in code quality, data security, and performance optimization.&nbsp;</li><li>Contribute to technical documentation and ensure smooth handoffs across teams.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in the internal community of practice sessions.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform all work in accordance with RouteOne quality programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><em><u>Knowledge&nbsp;</u></em></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Knowledge of popular software development processes, i.e., agile, scrum, and feature driven development.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience troubleshooting and resolving application defects within a mature production system. &nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge in distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and micro service frameworks. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><em><u>Skills&nbsp;</u></em></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Hands-on experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SQL Alchemy, Flask/FastAPI, and matplotlib/Plotly.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with databases (such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and data APIs.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipeline scripts.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with API design, message queuing, and integration patterns.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong understanding of RESTful integrations, data pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><em><u>Abilities&nbsp;</u></em></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, think critically and problem solve, learn new technologies and adapt to change.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with analysts to develop tools and pipelines that support machine learning and statistical analysis. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><em><u>Other Essential Requirements</u></em></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>2-5 years&rsquo; experience as a software engineer with a strong development background.&nbsp;</li><li>College degree in Computer Science, certification or experience.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div>\n",
