We are guided and united by our Group Purpose of “giving our world more smiles.” Visit: https://www.fujifilm.com/us/en/about/region/careers</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform cell culture experiments for development of cell biology research, product development for supporting media development projects </li>\n <li>Educational background in Molecular/cell biology or any related field </li>\n <li>Experience with mammalian cell culture, media preparation, and data analysis is preferred </li>\n <li>Proficient in using statistical software such as Design of Expert, Excel, Graphpad Prism, etc.  </li>\n <li>Communicate research and development findings in cross-disciplinary team meetings as well as with external partners. </li>\n <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills. </li>\n <li>Excellent creativity, technical decision-making, and trouble shooting skills. </li>\n <li>Handling of various cell lines in both adherent and suspension cultures </li>\n <li>Works on problems of moderate scope in which analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors </li>\n <li>Exercises judgment within general defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action </li>\n <li>Perform various chemical/biological assays such as cell counting, staining, and imaging </li>\n <li>Perform data analysis and experimental design. </li>\n <li>Prepare formal reports and presentations for group meetings </li>\n <li>Actively participate in group/project meetings </li>\n <li>Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications </li>\n <li>Good Documentation Practices & Good Laboratory Practices </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills/Education: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><em><strong>Ph.D. with more than 5 years of relevant experience in Life Science, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or related science. </strong></em></li>\n <li><em><strong>Minimum five years of relevant experience, with emphasis in cell culture.</strong></em></li>\n <li><em><strong>Cell culture experience.</strong></em></li>\n <li><em><strong>In depth knowledge in CHO bioprocess workflows: Batch, Fed batch, Antibody production </strong></em></li>\n <li>Good Understanding of cell culture, media optimization and development  </li>\n <li>Broad scientific knowledge of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Microbiology. Experience with conducting and creating new essays as needed. </li>\n <li>Design of experiments (DOE) and other statistical tools. </li>\n <li>Ability to use professional concepts, company's policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of assigned work and solve complex problems </li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate potential for technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others </li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of Cell Culture, Biochemistry and Cell Biology. </li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of basic laboratory equipment (scales, pH meters, etc.) </li>\n <li>Knowledge of commonly used experimental/research concepts, practices, and procedures. </li>\n <li>General knowledge of computer systems and productivity software. </li>\n <li>General knowledge of project management. </li>\n <li>General knowledge of GMP and GLP procedures. </li>\n <li>Ability to speak, read and write English proficiently. </li>\n <li>Good oral and written communication skills </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Salary and Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>For California, the base salary range for this position is $103,093- $134,204.
