A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in a human services field or 2-5 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking is preferred. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Transporting residents is required. Must be able to flex schedule to fill in weekend and midnight shifts. Must have the ability to work with diverse populations. Must have reliable transportation, insurance, a valid Michigan Driver&rsquo;s License and a good driving record. Must pass a criminal background check as a condition of employment.</p><p style='margin-top:.3pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;margin-left:0in;text-indent:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>&nbsp;</p><h1 style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:5.35pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;line-height:13.7pt;'><u>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u>:</h1><ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Implement agency and program mission and empowerment philosophy.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Administer and implement agency policies and&nbsp;procedures.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Maintain agency policy on confidentiality, record keeping and professional&nbsp;ethics.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Complete accurate and timely daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly documentation and other&nbsp;reports as required by the program and funding&nbsp;sources.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Meet with all assigned residents 2-3 times per week, to follow-up on progress with established goals&nbsp;like housing,&nbsp;etc.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Conduct weekly resident council meetings for survivors to share resources, updates, shelter&nbsp;events, etc.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Address communal living issues with&nbsp;residents.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Develop and maintain updated referral list of local service agencies and&nbsp;resources.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Conduct weekly housing and employment search trips with current residents as&nbsp;needed.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Work with Case Managers to create, plan and implement a basic computer skills competency curriculum that will assist residents to meet their housing, employment, and plan-related&nbsp;goals.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Provide advocacy as needed for residents with community&nbsp;organizations.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Support the work of the Case Managers on a daily basis by filling in to assist, as&nbsp;needed.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Provide support and coverage for Turning Point&rsquo;s 24-hour hotline</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">May be required to transport residents in personal vehicle as&nbsp;needed.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Follow up and modify safety assessment and safety plans of residents as&nbsp;needed.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Regularly attend all staff meetings, in-services and workshops.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Conduct relationships with staff to promote mutual respect, improvement of services, and&nbsp;interdepartmental program development.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Notify the Director of Human Trafficking, Senior Director of Residential Services, or Chief Executive Officer of any emergency situations that may affect Turning Point staff and clients.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Perform all other duties as assigned.</span></li></ol><p><span style=\"font-size:10px;\">&nbsp;</span><u>WORKING CONDITIONS</u>:</p><ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Must be able to work&nbsp;independently</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Allows for flexibility in schedule and job&nbsp;function</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Ability to climb&nbsp;stairs</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Ability to lift 20-30&nbsp;lbs</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Ability and willingness to be available for non-scheduled emergency call-in when necessary.</span></li></ol></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
