    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB SUMMARY: </span>The Warehouse Lead provides essential guidance, leadership and oversight in all areas of Warehouse operations. Warehouse Leads must understand all aspects of shipping, receiving, line supply and inventory maintenance and will be responsible for guiding partners and material resources towards safety, quality and throughput goals.  Working in a team-oriented environment, Leads must help instill and enforce team accountability and trust and create a positive and safe work environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Model safe behavior, coach and correct the behavior of others, to ensure a safe work environment</li>\n<li>Communicate with Supervisor and other departments to ensure continuity of projects</li>\n<li>Maintain inventory accuracy by facilitating IFS transactions; troubleshooting and escalating errors</li>\n<li>Communicate with leadership to identify daily goals and responsibilities</li>\n<li>Correct and report food safety and quality issues, such as adherence to allergen storage program, and ensure partners follow established practices</li>\n<li>Communicate with partners regarding key metrics, results and opportunities, ensuring daily activities align with strategic goals</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with the Gatekeeper and Scalers to facilitate accurate and timely pre-staging and back-staging of materials</li>\n<li>Assist with daily and period cycle counts</li>\n<li>Prepare documentation in timely manner</li>\n<li>Verify orders and materials to ensure accuracy and assess adherence to process</li>\n<li>Report service issues with PIT equipment and tag-out as needed</li>\n<li>Coach and develop team members to achieve required levels of performance</li>\n<li>Coordinate, deliver and document partner training of new warehouse partners; responsible for ensuring new partners are progressing toward full competency</li>\n<li>Monitor partner performance and provide regular input to Supervisor and escalate serious or unresolved performance issues to Supervisor</li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring daily housekeeping duties are completed thoroughly and correctly</li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring partners keep work areas stocked with necessary supplies and equipment</li>\n<li>Champions continuous improvement by identifying opportunities in the production process and implementing solutions to achieve targets</li>\n<li>Coordinate break times and the distribution of labor with dock schedules and production line needs</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li>\n<li>Experience with inventory control and WMS preferred</li>\n<li>The ability to understand and align with the goals and objectives of a daily food production environment</li>\n<li>Must be able to read and write English, understand and perform basic mathematical calculations and daily record keeping requirements</li>\n<li>Experience delivering training or supporting the transfer of technical knowledge to others</li>\n<li>Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook</li>\n<li>Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Ability to operate PIT equipment in a safe manner</li>\n<li>Ability to coach and motivate others towards specific goals</li>\n<li>Ability to plan and organize teams around specific tasks, activities or processes</li>\n<li>Ability to learn and adhere to company standards including, but not limited to, warehouse practices, safety practices, SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, employee handbook, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL FACTORS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Positions require standing, repetitive movement, bending and twisting, and using hands to handle objects; exposure to sustained noise levels; exposure to a variety of food allergens (e.g., gluten, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, milk); working in very hot temperatures; exposure to hazards such as machinery, slippery floors, ladders and powered industrial vehicles. May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).</li>\n<li>Must be able to safely move around in the production area (under, over and around production line equipment) and be able to pick up, lift, stack and/or move various objects and containers of up to seventy (70) pounds</li>\n<li>Ability to stand for 90% of shift, sometimes up to 12 hours.</li>\n<li>Must be available for all shifts, including nights, weekends, some holidays, and occasional overtime.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Duties as Assigned</span></p>\n<p><br>This job description is not intended to be all inclusive, but to serve as a guideline.  Management retains the right to determine additions or changes to job responsibilities.</p>",
