    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>Position Summary&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>The IT Applications Lead is responsible for implementing projects and managing the production support of the Manufacturing and Quality applications in Oracle </span><span>E-Business</span><span> Suite.&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span>The Lead will work proficiently in project management for ICU Medical’s Manufacturing and Quality application initiatives, including projects, enhancements, and minor break/fix efforts, partnering with the business to document requirements and support the development of solution designs for new implementations.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span>The role requires in-depth Oracle PL/SQL knowledge of internal business and processes, including Inventory, BOM, WIP and EAM. This position will interface with various departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Planning and Quality.</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Provide technical leadership on business systems architecture, application integration and software development.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure the smooth execution of incident management functions including application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective action identification and implementation, preventive action identification and implementation,&nbsp;communication and reporting to all stakeholders.</span></li>\n <li><span>Evaluate current tools and processes to constantly improve maintenance and systems availability.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure critical business application uptime and availability SLAs are met consistently</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide application support to users at global manufacturing, service, and warehouse locations and maintain existing applications.</span></li>\n <li><span>Serve as liaison between technology and business end-users.</span></li>\n <li><span>Identify, assess, and document business requirements, recommending business priorities and advising business on options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions.</span></li>\n <li><span>Triage and resolve complex incidents/problems with Manufacturing systems (Tier II/III support), including hands-on troubleshooting and coordination of enhancements/fixes &nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Lead and manage the application support including working with Oracle Support, External Service Providers and System Integrators to resolve application issues.</span></li>\n <li><span>Own the application support and enhancement requests queue, (ServiceNow) for Manufacturing and Quality applications. This will require conducting meetings with the business stakeholders, prioritizing requests, and driving resolution of the issues and requests.</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage and support the Change Control process for application issues.</span></li>\n <li><span>Implement <i>new and enhancement</i> projects from initiation to implementation phase including gathering requirements, writing functional design documents, communicating requirements to technical team members, writing test scripts, implementing, and training end users and IT support staff.</span></li>\n <li><span>Work across Oracle E-Business Suite modules including Bills of Material, Work-in-Process, Inventory, Planning and Scheduling, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain.</span></li>\n <li><span>Work on or support key processes and elements including work in process, manufacturing execution, bills of material, routers, planning and scheduling, inventory replenishment, serial-level transactions, purchase order processes, requisition/PO approval process, internal order/sales order process, receiving processes against POs/internal orders/inter-org shipments, outside processing, integration with outsourced warehouses, consigned inventory, incoming/in-process quality etc.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong Knowledge in Oracle API/ Interfaces in the area of Manufacturing and Quality Modules.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Identify process improvements and work with business partners effectively to implement change.</span></li>\n <li><span>Guide internal/external teams in developing reports, customizations, interfaces and extensions for Oracle applications.</span></li>\n <li><span>Act as a liaison between business users and other technical resources, including IT Infrastructure/Operations team members, and external service providers.</span></li>\n <li><span>Support and enhance Oracle Applications interfaces integrated with non-Oracle systems including MES.</span></li>\n <li><span>Create functional design and perform application configuration.</span></li>\n <li><span>Drive test planning and execution.</span></li>\n <li><span>Train site application support teams in Oracle E-Business.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assist end users with day-to-day applications troubleshooting and end user questions.</span></li>\n <li><span>Participate in 24/7 department on-call program.</span></li>\n <li><span>Work on special projects as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Very Strong in PL/SQL query knowledge: identify the tables and write basic queries to support the issues</span></li>\n <li><span>Able to collaborate with Business leaders and IT, as well as being able to operate comfortably at all levels of the organization</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent documentation skills; methodological experience with Oracle AIM, Agile-Scrum, and/or similar methodologies</span></li>\n <li><span>Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes in Oracle E-Business Suite, preferably in a Federally Regulated Medical Device industry</span></li>\n <li><span>Good knowledge of incoming, in-process, and customer quality processes in Oracle E-Business Suite is highly preferred</span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrate proactive business judgment and decision-making skills;
