This position is responsible for preparing and serving meals in alignment with dietary guidelines, maintaining kitchen sanitation standards, and fostering a respectful, welcoming dining environment within a licensed behavioral health facility.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to approved menus and dietary requirements</li>\n<li>Coordinate with the Dietitian to plan menus and order food based on census and client needs</li>\n<li>Monitor and document food, refrigerator, freezer, and water temperatures daily</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including dishes, surfaces, floors, and storage areas</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with West Virginia food safety regulations and internal policies</li>\n<li>Assist with meal service and create a supportive dining atmosphere for clients</li>\n<li>Report observed changes in client behavior or physical condition to the clinical team</li>\n<li>Perform additional food service or light housekeeping duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">What You Bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment</li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with compassion for individuals in recovery</li>\n<li>Ability to read and follow recipes, menus, and safety protocols</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>West Virginia Food Handler’s Permit</li>\n<li>ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>1+ year of experience in healthcare, institutional, or residential food service</li>\n<li>Familiarity with sanitation practices and dietary accommodations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 50 lbs</li>\n<li>Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours)</li>\n<li>Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing/pulling food carts</li>\n<li>Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, steam, noise, and cleaning chemicals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work is performed within a licensed behavioral health treatment facility</li>\n<li>Must follow all confidentiality, safety, and infection control protocols</li>\n<li>Requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed</li>\n<li>May occasionally encounter emotionally challenging situations within a recovery environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Our Commitment</span></p>\n<p>Wise Path Recovery Centers is committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve.
