Coeur Wharf prioritizes safety, teamwork, career development, and growth. &nbsp;If you want to grow your career in a progressive, team-oriented environment, apply today.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>About the Job:</u></strong></p><p>The Crusher Operator is responsible for the performance of the following duties in a safe and productive manner.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><strong>Job Duties (Not Limited to):</strong></p><ul><li>Operates panel board to control conveying, crushing, and sizing of ore to prepare it for leaching</li><li>Observes dials and gauges to route ore through a series of screens and crushers</li><li>Monitor machine amperages to determine load on conveyors and regulates loads</li><li>Observes panel lights and meters for indication of overloads, malfunctions or plugged chutes, and shuts down plant or adjusts controls to regulate feed</li><li>Notifies maintenance and loading personnel of delays or malfunctions</li><li>Does minor maintenance and preventive maintenance to crushing system</li><li>Some heavy equipment operation is necessary to clean up and feed crushing system</li><li>Clean up crusher area including hand shoveling, skid steer operation, compressed air operating, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Some supervision of other crusher attendants</li><li>Notifies foreman of parts that need to be replaced and of operating problems that are encountered</li><li>Responsible for the operation of the crusher system</li><li>Create work orders and job requests when necessary</li><li>Maintain a clean and citation-free mine site environment</li><li>Perform daily workplace and equipment safety inspections&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills:</u></strong></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Follow all procedures and safety measures such as, confined space, working at heights, etc., to assure safe production</li><li>Work in all conditions and environments, approximately 80% of job is outdoors</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Able to lift 65 lbs. on an occasional basis</li></ul><ul><li>Able to walk up and down slopes and uneven ground daily</li><li>Able to travel up and down stairs on a regular basis</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Workplace R</strong><strong>equirements&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Work as a team member and communicate openly with others</li><li>Self-directed and able to take leadership role on many projects</li><li>Willing to stop work for safety concerns and always abide by safety best practices, policies and procedures</li><li>Rotation of work assignments to maintain training</li><li>Respirator use is required</li><li>5-5-4 Rotational Shift Schedule</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Preferred background/education&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>A high school diploma or equivalent&nbsp;</li><li>A vocational-technical college degree</li><li>0-1 years&rsquo; experience in equipment maintenance</li></ul><p><strong><u>Additional Information:</u></strong> Willing to work alternating between 5 work days, 5 days off, 4 night shifts, and 5 more days off.</p><p><em>It is the policy of Coeur Mining, Inc. and its direct and indirect United States subsidiaries (the &ldquo;Company&rdquo;) to provide equal opportunity employment to all Employees and applicants for employment.
