We’d love for you to join our team!</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform quantitative and qualitative medical record reviews</li>\n <li>Communicate with physicians regarding incomplete medical records and follow up to ensure timely completion in accordance with regulatory standards</li>\n <li>Accurately scan and index records according to policy</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with hospital leaders, physicians, and clinicians to ensure proper record maintenance and timely resolution of issues</li>\n <li>Process release of information requests in compliance with departmental, state, and federal requirements</li>\n <li>Abstract clinical and quality data from medical records for internal and external reporting needs</li>\n <li>Assist leadership with timely data collection and submission, including CMS reporting requirements</li>\n <li>Maintain patient confidentiality at all times</li>\n <li>Meet annual goals and complete other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma</li>\n <li>Two (2) years of experience in a Health Information department within a healthcare facility</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize</li>\n <li>Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, urgency, and respect for confidentiality</li>\n <li>Experience with Epic or other EMRs and database systems</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate professionally with hospital staff, clinicians, and external partners</li>\n <li>Customer‑service mindset with a collaborative approach</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt to changing workload and workflow demands</li>\n <li>Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology or related healthcare field</li>\n <li>RHIT or RHIA certification</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of HIPAA and Joint Commission standards</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p><strong>Why Select Medical?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Select Medical values work‑life balance and strives to offer a supportive, fulfilling workplace.
