And we will be better with you.</p><p>We are looking for a&nbsp;<strong>Maintenance Electrician</strong> to&nbsp;join our team as a vital member of the operations team.&nbsp;This position is responsible for the general&nbsp;maintenance and repair of all instruments, control systems and electrical equipment in the plant.&nbsp;If you enjoy working on a variety of tasks in your day-to-day then Sensient is for you! &nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs industrial control systems and related&nbsp;devices including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), distributed control systems, Servos, and Drives</li><li>Installs, examines, replaces, or repairs electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, and other electrical components.</li><li>Preforms preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.</li><li>Perform and document maintenance, installation, fault diagnosis, and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic instruments and systems.</li><li>Inspect, repair and remove all types of, transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, electrical signal and communication systems, and work with electrical systems.</li><li>Provide proper installation and diagnosis of AC/DC motors and controls, including across the line, soft starters and VFD’s, etc.</li><li>Plan layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus plant wide.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p><ul><li>A degree from an accredited Industrial Electrical, Instrument or Technician program and a minimum of 4 years of electrical experience,&nbsp;or&nbsp;Journeyman Card and Electrician status performing Instrumentation and Electrical duties in a manufacturing, Industrial environment. &nbsp;</li><li>Thorough understanding in 3 phase power and its distribution as well as 120vac circuits and pneumatic controls with ability to repair.</li><li>A clear understanding of the N.E.C. Code and the ability to troubleshoot and repair relay circuits, layout and bend conduit to N.E.C specifications, and accurately complete basic load calculations.</li><li>Complete tasks such as installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting fixtures and controls, testing electrical &amp; power circuits and any other electrical devices.</li><li>Determine proper size and specifications of wire, conduit, switches, panels, fuse, etc.</li><li>Inspect motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, lighting, heating, power circuits and any other electrical devices.</li><li>Work safely using PPE (personal protective equipment) and LOTO (lock out tag out) and have received training in ARC flash safety and risk avoidance.</li><li>Able to read, understand and troubleshoot using electrical schematics and ladder logic.</li><li>Flexibility.
