This position will also collaborate across our multiple service areas, assist with business development, project pursuits, and coordinate projects with our clients.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide technical assistance and manage technical aspects on a variety of transportation and transportation related projects</li><li>Perform detailed engineering tasks, such as the design, review/preparation of contract documents, development of construction cost estimates and specifications</li><li>Oversee and manage multiple projects at once, providing responsive client service and strong communication, both internally and externally</li><li>Work with multiple municipalities and agency clients</li><li>Present project findings and represent the company at client meetings</li><li>Work as part of our overall design team, providing technical support and collaboration with other disciplines</li><li>Oversee and mentor younger staff</li></ul><p>Preferred location is BETA’s Hartford office. Candidates should have flexibility to work from our other office locations.
