Reports to Director of Auxiliary Programs Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-day Full-day (all ages): 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m., with 1 After Care shift per week (3:30 - 5:30 p.m.) Dragon Camp Sessions: Session 1: June 8 - June 26, 2026 Required orientation for new hires Friday, June 5th at 9 a.m. and classroom set-up Sunday, June 7th at 9:30 a.m. There will be no camp June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth. Session 2: July 6 - July 4, 2026 Required orientation and classroom set-up: Sunday, July 6th Position Summary: St. George’s Episcopal School is searching for enthusiastic, creative teachers to work at Dragon Camp for the summer of 2026. Camp Teachers who are warm, energetic and reliable are likely to be successful team members at St. George’s. Dragon Camp is a summer day camp for children 12 months - entering 4th grade. Dragon Camp provides a safe, exciting and engaging program that focuses on the interests of the children in each classroom. Children will engage in a variety of small-group, whole-group and outside-play activities, including water play. In the classroom, teachers use the Project Approach to build on children’s natural curiosity and engage them in learning about the world around them. In Grades 1-4, children engage with STEAM-focused activities to promote mathematical and investigative thinking.
