About Our Opportunities Our team members provide meaningful, hands-on support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in both community-based and on-site settings. Whether serving as a Program Instructor, Direct Support Professional (Independent Living), Employment Specialist, Job Coach, or Job Developer , you’ll play a direct role in helping individuals build skills, confidence, independence, and connection. Education & Experience In our approach to inclusive hiring, we recognize that traditional job qualifications have often excluded talented candidates from marginalized communities. A combination of lived and learned experience can absolutely make you successful here. Helpful background: Degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) Relevant work or volunteer experience Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities (preferred, not required) No experience in the IDD field? That’s okay. We provide training, mentorship, and a supportive team environment. Hiring Requirements 3 years of a valid California Driver’s License/ID 3 years clean driving record (for driving positions) Proof of negative TB test Physical clearance verification Criminal fingerprint clearance 21 years of age for driving roles Accessibility & Inclusion We recognize that each person has unique access needs.
