    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\">Insurance Inspector – Level 1</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports To:</span> VP of Loss Prevention<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Type:</span> Full-Time<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary Range:</span> $48,800 – $73,200 annually</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>HTM Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Inspector – Level 1</span> to join our Loss Prevention team. This role is responsible for conducting inspections for policyholders, identifying risks, recommending improvements, and helping prevent future claims. The Inspector also serves as a key representative of HTM with policyholders and brokers.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Inspections &amp; Risk Assessment</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct inspections for new and existing business within required timelines</li>\n<li>Perform interior and exterior inspections of dwellings and outbuildings</li>\n<li>Assess roofs, electrical systems, plumbing, heating systems, yard conditions, and life safety concerns</li>\n<li>Discuss findings and recommendations with policyholders</li>\n<li>Take photographs and document inspection findings</li>\n<li>Complete rush inspections and follow-ups as required</li>\n<li>Communicate significant concerns to Underwriting</li>\n<li>Utilize company tools including infrared cameras, laser measures, and drones</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Reporting &amp; Documentation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare inspection summary reports and building valuations</li>\n<li>Document deficiencies and required corrective actions</li>\n<li>Complete MIRA reports and related documentation</li>\n<li>Identify and communicate risk improvement recommendations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Relationship Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and maintain positive relationships with brokers and policyholders</li>\n<li>Attend meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Required</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, trades, building inspection, or property/farm insurance</li>\n<li>Knowledge of building construction, fire prevention, electrical systems, and building codes</li>\n<li>Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle</li>\n<li>WETT Certification or willingness to obtain</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>College diploma in a related field</li>\n<li>CIP courses or insurance industry experience</li>\n<li>Electrical training or drone certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Why Join HTM Insurance?</span></p>\n<p>HTM Insurance offers a collaborative and supportive workplace where employees contribute to exceptional service for policyholders and business partners.
