    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span>Lead Electrician/Foreman - PV Solar</span></span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Green Solar Systems LLC is a locally owned and operated  PV Solar firm based in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County.  We are seeking a lead Electrician to oversee our team of electricians in leading/training/confirming work.  Strong electrical background with management sills required. </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span>Responsibilities - Lead Electrician- Residential/Commercial/Municipal/Industrial</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Installation of PV Solar systems that interconnect the solar array to the grid - residential, commercial, municipal, industrial. </span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Ensure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Safely plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPU)</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Work with design team to fulfill any necessary system upgrades/repairs to support solar equipment</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Work with local inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Install back up batteries and whole home generators</span></li>\n<li>Monitoring work of electricians, ensuring work meets code and work is quality. </li>\n<li>Training new electricians</li>\n<li>Work with and communicate effectively with site managers, engineers, upper management</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span> </span><span>Positively represent company, mission and values</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Duties include commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC and DC solar PV systems, including inverters, PV module arrays, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Responsible for personal safety, quality, and schedule adherence</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>With supervision, be responsible for a variety of operations and maintenance work including measuring, reading, testing, and performing maintenance procedures on all site components</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Ensure all documentation and required reports are reviewed, complete, submitted, and filed</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Communicate cross-functionally across all necessary parts of the organization to achieve a resolution to plant issues</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Other duties as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Qualifications: </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">OSHA 10/OSHA 30 preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Proven experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Valid Drivers License</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, power generation etc</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Understanding of safety procedures, codes and guidelines</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Management/Supervisor/Foreman Experience </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Critical thinking and problem solving skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Time management skills </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Understanding of NEC regulations</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Salary negotiable depending on experience.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Offered:</p>\n<p>401k with company match, up to 3%</p>\n<p>UPMC Gold Plan after 6 months employment</p>\n<p>Dental &amp; Vision Coverage</p>\n<p>PTO accrual</p>",
